To change the KVED, an organization needs to make appropriate changes to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities and Individuals of Entrepreneurs of Ukraine (EDRPOU). The obligation to make appropriate changes arises when a legal entity or organization plans to carry out activities that are not recorded in the charter of the organization or that require obtaining separate permits for economic activity (licenses, permits, etc.). A change in the KVED can be carried out by notifying the registration authority of the desire of a legal entity or an individual entrepreneur to change the main activities of the organization and notify third parties about this change. If the types of economic activity that will be the main ones for the organization are not in the charter of the organization, then they must be included in the charter of the organization. Changing the charter of the organization takes place in the same way as making any other changes to the charter documents, including the need for a protocol with a decision to change the charter
